MCP mining rubber-sheathed cables are mainly used for power connection of mobile coal mining units and other equipment in underground coal mines. The cables are composed of twisted fine copper wires, EPR rubber insulation, metal shielding layer and rubber sheath. They have excellent flexibility and wear resistance, and can withstand frequent bending and twisting of the equipment.

MCP cable is a shielded rubber flexible cable used in coal mining shearer machines. Its structural features are as follows:
- Conductor layer: The core wire is generally made of multiple strands of soft copper wire twisted together, which has good flexibility and resistance to bending, suitable for scenarios where the mining equipment needs to be moved frequently.
- Insulation layer: Usually made of rubber composite materials with ethylene propylene rubber as the main component, it has high insulation resistance, strong heat resistance, and good bending resistance, effectively ensuring the electrical performance of the cable.
- Shielding layer: Uses a structure of metal braiding or metal strips wrapped, such as tin-plated copper wire braiding or copper strip wrapping, which can effectively shield external electromagnetic interference, prevent the signals transmitted inside the cable from being affected by external electromagnetic noise, and suppress the electromagnetic radiation of the cable itself.
- Filler layer: Filled with high elastic rubber and aramid tensile fibers, etc., which can provide cushioning when the cable is subjected to lateral pressure, maintaining the structural stability of the cable.
